These are my grandparents, my father’s parents, Walter and Thelma. They got married in 1915. Neither one of them came close to finishing high school. Walter was adopted by a man Judge Lee because his parents couldn’t afford to raise him. He loved pulling Judge Lee’s horses!
Walter provided for his 9 children by being a barber at ten cents a shave and hair cut!
They both worked hard and put God and family first!
Their family roots are now spread throughout the US and 62 of us will be coming together to celebrate their legacy and my Dad’s 90th birthday July 5th!
This will be our 10th reunion! We have done it every 5 years since 1981! That picture is below!
